Official: Al Hilal Terminate Karim Benzema’s Contract by Mutual Consent

Al Hilal have mutually agreed to terminate their contract with French striker Karim Benzema, bringing his short spell with the Saudi club to an end.

Al Hilal Club Company confirmed that a final agreement had been reached with Benzema to end their contractual relationship, following the period in which the French forward represented the first team.

The club’s management thanked Benzema for his efforts during his time at Al Hilal, praising his professionalism, commitment and leadership qualities, as well as his contributions both on and off the pitch.

Al Hilal also expressed its appreciation for everything Benzema had done during his time with the team, wishing him success and good luck in the next chapter of his career. His next destination has yet to be revealed.

In a related development, Al Hilal announced that Prince Alwaleed bin Talal will cover the value of Benzema’s contractual settlement, paving the way for the official termination of the relationship between the two parties.

The board of directors of Al Hilal Club Company, headed by Prince Nawaf bin Saad, also expressed its appreciation for Prince Alwaleed bin Talal’s support for the club, stressing that his initiatives represent a continuation of his longstanding backing of the Saudi giants.

Benzema leaves Al Hilal as a free agent after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract, with considerable anticipation surrounding his next move, while the club prepares to continue its campaign in the current season.
