Al Ahly held to a 1-1 draw against ZED in Egyptian Premier League clash
Al Ahly were held to a 1-1 draw by ZED FC on Saturday evening at Cairo International Stadium in Round 20 of the Egyptian Premier League.
ZED opened the scoring early through Mostafa Saad “Messi” in the 10th minute, capitalizing on a strong start.
Al Ahly pushed for an equalizer and found it late in the 89th minute through Mahmoud Trezeguet, securing a valuable point.
Al Ahly now sit third with 37 points, while ZED move to 26 points in seventh place.
Al Ahly will next face Arab Contractors in Round 21.
